The Spirit of the Homestead
The 40-acre parcel of land now known as The Ranche at Heritage Pointe is the original homestead of Joyce and Vic Heaver. The Heaver family was passionate about the land they farmed and ranched for almost a century. For giving us the opportunity to shape their land into the award-winning community of Heritage Pointe, we are deeply grateful to them.
In their honour, a road in the community has been named ‘Heaver Gate’; and a 13-acre parcel located immediately adjacent to The Ranche at Heritage Pointe will be forever preserved in a natural state and dedicated to the Heaver family in recognition of their generous contributions to the community.
